Meet your Big Three
Sun = identity and direction; Moon = emotional needs; Ascendant = approach to the world. Signs describe styles, not fixed personality diagnoses.
In your chart: Sun in Capricorn, Moon in Sagittarius, Aquarius Ascendant.
Planet, sign, house
A handy reading formula: planet = what, sign = how, house = where. It is a starting point, not a rigid rule.
In your chart: Sun (identity) in Capricorn (building patiently) in the 11th house (groups and shared goals).
Read the houses
The houses mark life areas. House cusps depend on birth time and house system. This chart is tropical and Placidus.
In your chart: The chart shows an 11th-house Sun and a 10th-house Moon.
Elements and modes
Earth emphasizes material/practical concerns; fire emphasizes inspiration; air emphasizes ideas; water emphasizes feeling. Cardinal initiates, fixed sustains, mutable adapts.
In your chart: Capricorn is cardinal earth; Sagittarius is mutable fire; Aquarius is fixed air.
Your first synthesis
A reading connects placements without treating any one of them as a verdict.
In your chart: A wish to build something durable can coexist with a need for exploration and an independent approach.
Mercury in Capricorn
Mercury symbolizes learning, thinking and communication. A sign suggests a style, not an IQ or ability.
In your chart: Mercury is 17° Capricorn in the 11th house on your chart.
Venus in Scorpio
Venus symbolizes values, pleasure, attraction and relating. Avoid turning a placement into a claim about someone’s worth or fate.
In your chart: Venus is 22° Scorpio, in the 9th house on your chart.
Mars in Virgo
Mars symbolizes action, assertion and motivation. Virgo offers a language for precision and improvement.
In your chart: Mars is 2° Virgo, in the 7th house on your chart.
Moon and Jupiter
A conjunction brings two chart factors close together. We read the themes together, then check against lived experience.
In your chart: Moon 9° Sagittarius and Jupiter 4° Sagittarius are about 5° apart.
Values versus action
Compare Venus (what matters to you) with Mars (how you act). Similarities and contrasts make richer readings than one-word traits.
In your chart: Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Virgo.
Aspects without overwhelm
An aspect is an angular relationship between chart points. Start with conjunctions, oppositions, squares and trines; closer does not automatically mean more important.
In your chart: Moon–Jupiter is a useful first conjunction to study.
Sun and Saturn
In traditional rulership, Saturn rules Capricorn and Aquarius. Its position is therefore relevant to both your Sun and Ascendant, but it does not explain everything.
In your chart: Saturn is 7° Pisces in the 1st house on your chart.
Public-life themes
The Midheaven and 10th house can frame questions about visibility and direction. They do not prescribe a career.
In your chart: Your MC is about 7° Sagittarius; your Moon and Jupiter are nearby.
Question the reading
A strong learner looks for misses, vague claims and alternative explanations. Do not retrofit every experience to the chart.
In your chart: A broad “independent thinker” claim could fit many people.
One-page chart story
Prioritize repeated themes; use tentative language. Interpret a pattern rather than every symbol on the wheel.
In your chart: Big Three, Saturn, Moon–Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and Mars.
Natal versus transit
A natal chart is calculated for birth. A transit compares later planetary positions with the natal chart; it is not a guaranteed forecast.
In your chart: Your stored placements here are natal only; this app does not calculate live transits.
Keep a reality-based log
Separate what happened from what you expected. Record ordinary causes, uncertainty, and counterexamples too.
In your chart: A short daily note: event, mood, practical context, interpretation.
Ziggy’s approach
Ziggy teaches Western tropical astrology with Placidus houses and her own Degree Theory. Treat the latter as a specific interpretive method, not a verified rule.
In your chart: Learn the planet–sign–house foundation before interpreting your exact degrees.
Your five-minute reading
Structure: identify the question, choose 2–3 relevant chart factors, give a balanced interpretation, name uncertainty.
In your chart: For a community project: Sun and Mercury in the 11th, plus Moon near the MC.
Your next learning path
Revisit unclear concepts before adding techniques such as house rulers, more aspects, or sourced transit calculations.
In your chart: Return to the lesson that felt least intuitive.
